Voting: In the era of COVID

Updated: Sep 20, 2020

The cold breeze is in the air. Yes, football is back, the leaves are starting to change, and Halloween will soon be around the corner. This year a global pandemic has changed everything we do and will continue to do for the foreseeable future, including voting. We no longer need to wait until November 3, 2020 to cast our ballots. Absentee ballots start getting mailed out Monday September 21, 2020 in Vermont. Individuals can turn in their ballot at the local clerk’s office any time thereafter until 5pm on election day or via mail by October 24th, 2020. You can always vote in person if you choose at your local polling stations.
